Calgary International Airport(YYC) is the third busiest airport in Canada, serving 12.5 million passengers in 2008. Twenty-two airlines fly through Calgary International Airport, and direct flights are available from many Canadian, US, and international destinations.
Calgary International was #3 on MSNBC’s list of the world’s top 10 airports in 2006. Visitors can sign up for a white hat ceremony upon arriving at the airport, to be greeted in true Calgary style. The SpacePort facility has hands-on aeronautics and space exhibits, including four simulator rides. Duty free shopping is also available.
